Check-in & checkout

What time is check-in?
Anytime after 3:00 PM at no extra charge. Arrivals after 8:00 PM incur a late check-in fee of $30/hr, billed in 30-minute increments. Early check-in may be available at $45/hr depending on the cleaning schedule; request in advance.
What time is checkout?
Standard checkout is 10:00 AM. Late checkout can be requested from the day before through the morning of departure, subject to availability. The latest possible checkout is 1:00 PM. Approved late checkout is $60/hr; unapproved is $250/hr with no exceptions.
Why is unapproved late checkout $250 an hour?
It is a deterrent more than anything. When a checkout runs past the agreed time we pay our cleaners for hours outside what was scheduled, and the delay hits the guest arriving that afternoon. That comes at a risk to our reputation and sometimes costs us a refund or a perk for the next guest. Ask in advance and approved late checkout is $60/hr.
How do I receive my check-in instructions?
They are sent at check-in time on arrival day. First, submit the first and last name of every adult in your party. If anything is incomplete, check-in may be delayed.
How does key handoff work?
This is a private condo, so the front desk cannot issue our key. A team member meets you with it. Text your ETA at 60 minutes and again at 30 minutes out to 609-740-3092 so we can coordinate. One key, one in-person check-in.
Can someone else check in on my behalf?
Yes, as long as they are listed as a guest on the reservation. Only one key is provided and only one in-person check-in is performed.
What is the checkout process?
Place the key and parking pass on the kitchen counter near the stove, take a clear photo of both, and upload it to your Airbnb or VRBO message thread. For Booking.com and direct bookings, text the photo to 609-740-3092. The photo is proof of key return and marks your official checkout time.
What should we do before leaving?
Trash in the hallway in tied bags, soiled towels on the bathroom floor, start the dishwasher, discard open food, turn off lights and appliances, check for belongings, set AC to 78°F in summer or heat to 60°F in winter, rinse beach gear, then do the key photo step.
Will I be charged extra for hair or sand?
Excessive hair or sand left behind can trigger an additional cleaning fee, because both add real time to a turnover. A quick pass before you leave, gathering loose hair and shaking out anything that went to the beach, usually avoids it entirely.

Towels, linen & beach gear

Can I take the towels to the beach or pool?
No. Unit towels stay indoors and may not go to the beach or the pool. The pool has its own towels and you are welcome to bring those up to the room. Towels that go missing or come back full of sand are charged at $25 each.
Are beach towels provided?
No beach-specific towels are provided, so bring or buy your own. Unit towels must not be taken to the beach.
Can we use the beach gear?
Yes, the beach gear in the unit is yours to use. Please clean it off thoroughly before returning it inside. Cleaning beach gear is not part of the cleaning fee.
How many towels do we get?
Towels and wash rags in the bathroom and on the bed are set out based on the number of guests recorded on your reservation. Additional towels or wash rags may come at an additional cost, so just ask us if you need more.
Can we use the linen stored in the unit?
Please ask first. Stored linen is pre-prepped for the next guest so our turnovers run efficiently. Using it without approval may carry a cost and leaves us short for the guests arriving after you.
What about extra bedding for the pull-out couch?
Additional pillows and blankets are available by lifting the chaise portion of the couch.

Unit & amenities

What does the unit include?
One bedroom plus a pull-out couch in the living area. Kitchen with a two-burner induction stovetop, microwave, mid-size fridge with freezer, and cutting board. Balcony with ocean and bay views, both sunrise and sunset. Sheets, blankets, and towels provided, plus a Bluetooth speaker.
What is the WiFi?
Building-wide WiFi, no in-unit router. Connect to the "Flagship" network; a splash page offers a free tier (usually plenty) and a paid premium tier. Details are also posted in the kitchen.
I connected to WiFi but nothing loads, or the sign-in page never appeared.
This is the most common WiFi issue: the phone joins the Flagship network but never shows the sign-in page, so it looks connected while nothing works. Open the sign-in page directly at flagshipresort.hotelwifi.com, or load connectivitycheck.gstatic.com/generate_204 to force the network to show its sign-in screen. Both links are on the Your Stay page under WiFi.
The TV froze or stopped loading. What do I do?
Wait a moment first and let it try to reconnect. If that fails, do not exit the streaming app. Turn the TV off, turn it back on, and do not immediately open any app. Let the TV reset its connection. Once normal TV programming starts playing on its own, it is properly connected and you can return to your streaming service. The TV runs on building WiFi, which cycles devices and drops it occasionally, so this one is out of our control.
The balcony door will not open.
It is usually not locked, it is just really heavy. Pull firmly. It is meant to be opened by adults, not by children.
Can we feed the seagulls from the balcony?
Please do not. Once you leave they keep returning and they destroy the balcony. They also do not all know where the food came from, so they start going after other guests nearby.
How do I use the induction stove?
If the display shows "Lo," the stove is locked. Hold the lock button on the far right until it beeps, then select your burner and adjust with plus and minus.
The Keurig will not brew.
Press the lower part of the brew ring rather than the center.
Is there a computer available?
The computer inside the unit is not available. A free business center PC is on the first floor: left of the elevators, down the hall to the right of the on-site store.
Are there building amenities?
Gym and arcade on the 6th floor; pool, hot tub, and restaurant on the 7th. Bring your key for pool access. If an attendant denies access, contact us at 609-740-3092 and we will coordinate with security.
Is there laundry?
Yes: coin-operated laundry with 3 washers and 2 dryers on the 2nd floor, open 24 hours, with a change machine and detergent vending on site.
Where does trash go?
Tied bags in the hallway; there is no chute on this floor. Bins are near the elevators at the far end, and staff collect regularly.
Can we order food delivery?
Yes. DoorDash and similar work fine. Include your unit number in the delivery notes and meet the driver in the lobby; drivers cannot come up unescorted.

The building & front desk

Can the front desk help me?
Not really. This building holds private units like ours, timeshares, and hotel guests. You are staying as our private guest, not a Flagship guest, so the front desk is not available to assist you in virtually any way and has no access to the building's housekeeping or facility services for our unit. If they tell you something that conflicts with this guide, our instructions take precedence.
I locked my key in the room or lost it. What now?
Building security can let you back in. They will only assist the name registered on the room with us, and you must text us at 609-740-3092 first so we can coordinate with them. If the key is lost rather than locked inside, replacement is $60 and it invalidates all existing keys for the unit.
What is the address and how do I find the room?
60 North Maine Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401. At the elevator keypad press 18; the screen directs you to elevator A, B, C, or D. On the 18th floor, Room 1803 is the last room to the left.
Where do I park and how does the parking pass work?
Park in the building garage. The pass will be in the unit on the table or counter; place it on your dashboard. Unreturned passes incur a $75 building fee. At checkout, leave it on the counter next to the key and photograph both.

Fees

What is the early check-in fee?
$45/hr, subject to availability based on the cleaning schedule. Request in advance.
What is the late check-in fee?
$30/hr for arrivals after 8:00 PM, billed in 30-minute increments.
How much is key replacement?
$60, and it invalidates all existing keys for the unit.
How much is parking pass replacement?
$75. It is a building-issued fee, not ours.
How much is a lost or sandy towel?
$25 per towel that goes missing or comes back full of sand from the beach or pool.
What is the pet fee?
$45 for approved small dogs only, evaluated case by case. Never bring a pet without prior approval.

Policies

What is the pet policy?
Small dogs only, case by case. Share the breed, approximate size, and temperament before bringing the pet. If approved, a $45 cleaning fee applies.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is against building rules inside the unit. Smoking strictly on the balcony may be tolerated, but any smoke scent, residue, or damage inside results in fines.
Can visitors who are not staying come by?
Yes, visitors who are not overnight guests are permitted.
Is there a security deposit at check-in?
No separate deposit is collected at check-in; your booking platform handles it. Payment outside the platform only happens for approved extras (late check-in, late checkout, early check-in, pets) or replacement fees.
How does the cancellation policy work?
The refund depends on the policy agreed to at booking. Start the cancellation through your booking platform to see the exact refund. We cannot cancel on your behalf or override the platform's policy.
Can I change my payment method?
Payments are handled by your booking platform; we do not have access to payment details. Contact platform support or update the card on your account. For direct bookings, contact us at 609-740-3092.
What if something is broken or damaged on arrival?
Inspect the unit on arrival and report anything broken, damaged, dirty, or out of place by 10:00 PM on check-in day. This gets it fixed fast and protects you from liability for pre-existing damage.

Local info

Is the area safe?

No, walk-ins are welcome at the 7th floor restaurant.
Where can I get flowers delivered?
Atlantic City Flower Shop, Chester's Plants and Flowers, and Rain Florist in Ventnor. Ask the front desk if they can hold a delivery for pickup, since room delivery is hard to coordinate.
